My thoughts on the syllabus

    After going over the syllabus, I am really looking forward to an elective that sounds so easy to pass. However, I do have questions that I did not mention since I usually remain silent. My first question: when we look at films critically in this class, are we being critical in our own creative ways or are we thinking critically from learning past and present film critics such as the late Roger Ebert? Even though I previously gave my critical thoughts on "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" (1971), this was for one of my classes back in the spring. Another question I had was: what will the final project for the class be all about? It was in the syllabus but I never heard it get mentioned in class. In brief, this class is gonna be fun.
